The Gilbert Nordman Unit of the Disabled American Veterans is located in Duluth, MN right on the shores of Lake Superior in North Eastern MN. Unit 6 host a very active Unit which holds many events each year to support our disabled veterans right here in Minnesota. Holding Pie socials, forget-me-not drives, and our annual picnic are just a few of the events that Unit 6 puts on. We also provide funding to send veterans from the Silver Bay Veterans Home out to do things such as view the city aquarium, local baseball games, and to Bentleyville to view the lights. We also donate care packages that are sent to currently deployed military men and women who are serving over seas.
